Objectives:
- Execute software development tasks that are assigned, considering the goals and guidelines of the project they belong to.
- Learn: Software development process, code design and development, teamwork, and interaction with different profiles and roles.
- Evolve in their knowledge of: Technical design and code implementation, teamwork and interaction with different profiles and roles, customer relations, and understanding of the business and its processes.
Activities:
- Design: Based on general technical specifications, they can autonomously create a detailed design that is efficient, easy to implement, and maintain for simple parts of the system.
- Development: Code and perform unit tests on modules to ensure they comply with their own or third‑party design specifications. Implement efficient, documented, easy‑to‑understand, and maintainable code.
- Testing: Define unit test cases and test data based on the specifications. Verify whether the results obtained match the expected ones. Execute tests on code written by someone else. Actively interact with the testing team of the projects.
- Documentation: Document code and detailed design clearly and understandably for the intended audience.
- Functional analysis: Contribute to selecting the best functional alternatives that integrate the client’s technological and business aspects. Actively interact with the functional team of the projects.
- Research: Perform research tasks to find efficient solutions to requirements from themselves or the team.
- Self‑management: Deliver work within established timelines. Organize tasks to meet deadlines and expected quality. Keep in mind the work plan and project objectives.
- With peers: Daily interaction. Teamwork. Collaboration. Synergy. Generally focuses only on their project, although they begin to actively participate in activities related to organizational processes.
