Personal Data Protection Policy

useitweb S.A.S., a Colombian company based in Cali, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

We only ask for what we need in order to reply. Through this site we collect:

• Contact form: name, company, role, work email, type of need, estimated investment range and the description of the challenge you write to us.
• Careers form: name, email, role of interest, years of experience, any links you share and your CV, which may contain additional data you choose to include.
• Technical data: IP address and submission date, recorded for security and to prevent abuse.

We do not deliberately collect sensitive data (health, ethnic origin, political or union affiliation, biometric data). Please do not include it in your CV or messages: no process of ours requires it.

• Replying to your messages, preparing proposals and managing the commercial relationship.
• Assessing applications, contacting you during the hiring process and keeping your CV in our talent pool for future openings.
• Preventing automated submissions, spam and abuse of the forms.
• Meeting legal, accounting and contractual obligations.

We do not sell, rent or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

By submitting any form on this site, the data subject gives prior, express and informed authorization to useitweb S.A.S. to process their personal data for the purposes described in section 03. This authorization may be revoked at any time through the channels in section 06, unless a legal or contractual duty requires us to keep the information.

Colombian law grants you the right, at any time, to:

• Access, update and correct your personal data.
• Request proof of the authorization you granted.
• Be informed about how your data has been used.
• Revoke your authorization or request deletion of the data, where no legal or contractual duty prevents it.
• Access, free of charge, the data we hold about you.
• File complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce for breaches of the law.

Write to [email protected] with the subject Data protection, stating your name, ID number, the specific request and an email or phone number.

• Enquiries: answered within ten (10) business days. If that is not possible, we will explain why and give the date we will answer, no more than five (5) business days later.
• Complaints: handled within fifteen (15) business days. If that is not possible, we will explain why and give a new date, no more than eight (8) business days later.

To run the site and handle your messages we work with providers acting as data processors, which may store information outside Colombia:

• Microsoft 365 — corporate email, where we receive and keep your messages.
• Web hosting provider — the servers running this site.
• Google reCAPTCHA — anti-spam verification on the forms.
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate site usage statistics, subject to consent.

These international transfers are carried out under adequate security standards and solely for the purposes described.

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures: the site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), CVs we receive are stored in a folder blocked from public access, and access to the information is restricted to staff who need it for their work.

• Contact messages: for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and for the period required by legal and accounting obligations.
• CVs: up to two (2) years from receipt, unless you request deletion sooner.

This site uses two Google services that set cookies:

• Google Analytics 4 — measures site usage in aggregate (page views, traffic sources, language). It is only activated if you accept the cookie notice shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded.
• Google reCAPTCHA — verifies that forms are submitted by people and not automated programs. It is necessary for the site to work and is governed by Google's privacy policy.

We use no advertising cookies and share no data with ad networks. You can change your analytics choice by clearing the site data in your browser: the notice will appear again.

This policy is in force from 10 August 2026. Any substantial change will be published on this page with its new effective date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
